Arafin Spiral tube, according to their special design is used to induce turbulence in the internal and external fluid layer to improve rate of heat transfer. Pressure drop in these tubes is much less than any other internal turbulators' configurations (insert). So they are good choice for substituting plain tube in heat exchangers such as boilers.
